THe picture gallery functions are primative at the best Notes on the Picture gallery

I played with it this week-end for a while (Olivia did not come to visit so resorted to something to keep me busy).

1) To create a new gallery I had to go the the albumn selection screen (don't click into a albumn!) and add a picture. During that seq you get an option to crate a new gallery. Once created you can move images into the albumn.

A) I would like the ability to add a new gallery without having to add an image to get it going. I suspect the hang-up is the interface wants an image so let it give us the option to choose which image is used.

B) Moving existing images is a pain if you have a lot already. I had to start at the first page and go through each page then move each one at a time then start over for the next image to move. I would like the ability to select multiples and move them to a albumn.

C) Some of the images show the thread where they were originally posted while others do not. Why? Bug?

D) I did not see how to create sub-albumns. Is it pssible? I'd like to sort my image into albumns and sub-albumns.

Thanks for the report Ben.  I will check into the things you mention and report the suggestions to Lithium.  I'm not sure why some images have links to threads but others don't. Did it seem to be based on date? The link from image to thread was a more recent improvement.

I was showcasing the "original thread" feature to my buddy and the images of the model blast furnace lacked the links.

Hi Ben,

I think I found the image in your gallery for the model blast furnace.  Can you either give me a link to the thread where you used that image or some information about where / when you posted it so I can search?  I looked at your posts from the time period in which you uploaded the image but don't see it used.
