Threads are floated twice

Laura, on occasion (I've seen this more than once) I float a thread and it appears twice in the list.

To solve this, I usually need to unfloat and float the thread until it works out.

It's interesting to note that, at the moment, the thread shown in the example appears in the floated list even though going into the thread gives me the option of floating it and not the option of unfloating it.

Well, now it stopped appearing in the floated list, but now I floated it and it was only floated once.

This, of course, does not solve the problem since this is a recurring issue.

Hi tst,

Thanks for the bug report!

I have a question for you:  Does this happen only when you first float a thread?  Or, can it happen that you have floated a thread, it appears only once, and then you come back the next time and it is floated twice?  I will try to reproduce this and want to be sure that I am using the correct case.

Thanks!

I think this always happens immediately after I float a thread (it can happen several times in a row with the same thread, but it doesn't happen with all the threads).

I don't know if this is relevant, but I disabled the last column in the board view, so I have to float and unfloat the threads from within the threads themselves.

In retrospect, I don't think it is, because I'm pretty sure I remember that this also happened when I used the board view to float threads.

Hi tst,

I haven't seen this happen yet, but I'll keep trying.

Everyone - Does this happen to you?

Thanks!

I can't say I float threads all that much (since that thread, I only floated one more and it didn't do this), but I can say that this is not localized in time, since I remember it happening several times at least six months ago.

while trying out the float function, a similar situation occurred Smiley Mad ... but as tst described... after unfloating it and floating it again, it seems to be working well again Smiley Surprised ... and it does not happen all the time..

Hi JQ,

Thanks for the information!

Did you float this thread while looking at the thread, using the Thread Options menu?  Or did you float it by using the arrow in the board view?

Thanks!
Laura
