Necesito saber si puedo usar mi módulo FP-1000 sobre una red RS485 sin usar su puerto serial (RS232) y conectarme al PC al computador usando una tarjeta PCI RS485. Se que suena extraño pero cometí un error al adquirir el módulo FP-1000 y no el FP-1001, pero de igual manera necesito usarlo. Gracias.
I need know if Can I use my FP-1000 module on RS485 network without use the serial port (RS232) and connect to my computer using a PCI485 card?. I know that sound stranger but I commited a mistake when acquiring the FP-1000 instead of FP-1001, but I need use the module. Thanks.
The RS-485 port on the FP-1000 is a repeater port only. It can not be used to send commands to the FP-1000. You will be unable to connect it to the RS-485 port on your computer.
