Can i give User login password to Remote systems in measurement & automation exp

Hi, I need to give authentication to remote systems access in Measurement & Automation explorer. Will there be any comflicts if i give password access to that remote systems folder. Normally everything in remote systems will be configured once and it is not usuall that you access often.Please suggest your ideas in giving authentication to remote systems.

Sorry, I'm a little confused.

Are you:
Wanting to password protect a remote system such as a FP?
Hoping to password protect a folder on the FP?
Prevent people from viewing Remote Systems within MAX?

I don't know of a way to prevent anyone from opening the remote systems tab, however you can lock each of the RT targets that appear in the Remote Systems list by right clicking on the the target and selecting lock.
