I am writing Visual C++ project to read thermocouples from a FP-TC-120 module via RS232 (FP1000) WOuld anyone have existing code they would be willing to donate?

Hello John. Thank you for contacting National Instruments. There is an example of how to communicate with the (c)FP-TC-120 with CVI on ni.com. click here CVI is ANSI C with a user interface to make the program more user-friendly. You can take these programs and delete all of the callbacks to see how to communicate with your fieldpoint module. Please let me know if you have any questions. Have a great day!
