How can I make cFP work with LabVIEW 6.1?

I am using LabVIEW 6.1 and trying to use cFP-2010, AI-100, QUAD, and PWM modules. (I have FP 4.1 obviously, but don't care what I end up using) By installing the LabVIEW RT 6.1.3 and IA Control Environment 4.1.6 software on the controller I can communicate with the modules in MAX, but not in LabVIEW. In order to download FP VIs I install FieldPoint VI Manager 1.0.28 but then the ready indicators on the modules no longer illuminate and I cannot communicate with them in MAX. Only the AI-100's Ready indicator illuminates, but it no longer returns the proper values in MAX. Please help.

Hello Nate,

Thank you for contacting National Instruments.

Some of the features in FP 4.1 are not supported in LabVIEW 6.1. You should download and install FP 3.0.2. This is a very stable version and has been used successfully with LabVIEW 6.1.
FP 3.0.2 is no longer available for download on our website. Please contact customer support directly and we will provide you with this driver. You can submit a phone or email support request at http://sine.ni.com/apps/we/niae_asc.main .

Let me know if you have further questions.

Yes, I already had FP 3.0.2, but during the installation of LVRT 6.1.1 it would always return error saying something about a corrupt memory. I discovered the solution to my problem was to boot into Safe Mode, FTP to the controller, delete EVERYTHING I could, then reinstall the software. This solved my problems. However, I am still not able to get the serial ports to work. I am using the old serial compatibility VIs but when it tries to configure a port (0 or 1, I have a cFP-2010) it sometimes says Error 37 but usually it just reboots the cFP module. I've tried writing new VIs from scratch and I've tried running old VIs that I had written for FP-2000 that use the serial port, neither works. Any ideas about this?
