Measurement Problem of FP-1600

We are using FP-1600 to measure temperature by thermocouples. . We are seeing erroneous data when induced or actual voltage is applied to a thermocouple.

Thank you for using the discussion forums here at ni.com. I assume that you are using the FP-TC-120. I have a few questions to clarify the issue:

1. What do you mean by erroneous data? Are you seeing spikes or just readings that are consistently offset?
   
2. Is only the one channel affected, or do all the channels show problems?
   
3. What is the source and magnitude of the voltage? Is it AC or DC?
