Wy am I getting error code 33440?

I have an FP2000 with a FP-TB-10 base containing 3 modules: two analog outputs and one analog input. At random intervals, but approximately once per day, I get Error code 33440 (module is unconfigured) when I try to read the status of one of the analog outputs. This error goes away after a few seconds, but the outputs are all set to zero at that point, which is a big disaster for me. It appears to me that somehow the module is being disconnected and reconnected, but I have checked to make sure it is seated properly, and everything seems tight. Furthermore, shouldn't the module come back to the same output even if it was temporarily disconnected? The modules are claimed to be hot-swappable, but if they all go to zero value when swapped,
that is still a problem since the computer that can set the outputs is a long ways away. Shouldn't the FP-TB-10 base remember the output value and set a new module to those values?
I am only having a problem with one of the modules. I am going to try exchanging it with a different one, then trying a different position on the base. Are there any other suggestions?

Further information:
I took the AO-CO-24 module that had been giving errors and moved it from slot 1 to slot 4, and placed a new one in slot 1. I checked that I can plug the new module in and out of the slot and it retains the output settings, as it should. The error message received in this case is 33494 not 33440. My guess that the module was being disconnected seems to be incorrect. I am beginning to believe that either the module or the base is defective. I hope I can figure out which one in a reasonable length of time (i.e. before the warranty expires).

First make sure that you have the most recent version of FieldPoint Explorer (currently 3.0.1).
Otherwise there could be a problem with either the terminalbase or the dual channel module. Do you have any spare hardware that you can swap in. If you have an extra AO-C024 module you could try it in the same terminal base or if you had another TB-10 terminal base you can try the AO-C024 in the other terminal base. If you do not have extra hardware try moving the dual-channel modules around. If the problem follows a particular dual-channel module then you can assume that it is the dual-channel module. If the problem stays with a particular slot then you can assume that it is the terminalbase.

I have determined that it was a bad FP-TB-10 terminal base. All modules on the base were giving the same error at the same time. I replaced it with another base and it has been working fine for a week. The defective unit is being repaired under warranty.
