ps-4 power supply

Hi,
I plugged AC input terminal connector into the input port on the FP-PS-4 according to OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS. The output voltage is 24 VDC. But the  V output terminals is 0 VDC and C terminals is -23.6 VDC reference earth ground. I wonder whether this output is correct.
Using this power supply to crio 9103, the chassis ground  is -23.6 VDC reference ground (equal to C terminals). This will result in mistake when my signal is ground referenced.

     Thanks for reply!

I suggest you should better double check the Ground wire is correctly connected in the AC port. (green by North American standards; green/yellow by
international standards).

thank you.

My AC port ground line is green/yellow.

In addition, i checked the PS-4 module by multimeter, found the ground
terminal in AC port is connected with V terminal in DC port (0 ohm) , regardless of wire.

So, whether my PS-4 module has a malfunction?

thanks again.

I also check a PS-4 module here by multimeter. The ground terminal in AC port and V terminal in DC port are open loop. So I think there should be something wrong with your PS-4 module.

Best wishes!
