storing chart data and reloading for display

Hi
I'm looking for an example VI that would log data displayed in a waveform chart to a file and then permit me to reload this data from disk for display purposes. Specifically I would like to log all eight channels from an FP-TC-120 module to disk and then reload that data into the chart for static display at a later date

Hi,

I would start with an LabVIEW shipping example program, this would give you a good idea of how to implement it and also give you directions on how to avoid the typical pitfalls.

You can use the "Write Datalog Example.vi" and the "Read Datalog Example.vi" to write and recover the data from disk. You will find this example programs on LabVIEW example >> Fundamentals >> File Input and Output.
