There are other types of triggering modes available on the 5112 other than analog. If the data you are looking for can be associated with a digital pulse, you can use a digital trigger. If you are just trying to get a picture of the signal at that moment when you run the program, you can use an immediate trigger. Either one will allow you to more easily see that DC level than an analog trigger would.
You can quickly experiment with your trigger types in the NI-Scope Soft Front Panel which you can find by going to Start>>Programs>>National Instruments>>NI-Scope>>Scope Soft Front Panel
