Test Tab for waveform graph and pass button

Hi,

Attached is an example that shows test tab. The example looks very confuseing. I would like to make those test tab such as beep test, shock test 1, etc just on one test panel? Is there any good example I can see?

One thing I want to mentioned is that I would like to put a pass button under the supply test tab. The result is if the value of the current meter is less than 70microamphere. The pass button will turn on. I would like to ask if there is any example that will do this kind of
thing on each separate tab directly, expecially using NI 5112 to generate some graph under each tab.  The result is that it will work.

Can we just put "niScope EX Configured Acquisition.vi" and modified it directly under the tab?

nyborn,

I would like to help but I don't exactly understand what you want help with. Do you not need to have the tab control and instead spread out your tests in the same front panel? What does NI 5112 have to do with these tests? Are you asking about how you could program the 5112 to perform these tests? Please elaborate more so that we could help you to our utmost knowledge.

Hi,

Thanks for your replying.

If you look at my attached file, you press the beep test tab, or shoct test tab on the front panel. You will see the graph. What I ask is how to make those graph on sepearate tab?
Is this the only best way to do?

Also, I would like to ask how I can programm NI5112 into it under the each tab? Do you think I can use the getting started sample or ex-configured acquiration put into it directly?
If not, could you have any suggestions?

I am very sorry. I am in a urgent. Would you pls send it me quickly? I am very appreicate

nyborn,

Yes you can put the graph on a seperate tab. You just need to create another tab and place the graph inside it. In the block diagram of your VI you need to program your case (you are using property node now to set the value of your tab control) to display the appropriate tab when conditions are met.

For the second question, I truly don't understand how you want to program the 5112 under each page of the tab control. If you are asking whether you could configure your digitizer so that you display the results of both channels in two different pages of the tab (5112 has only 2 simultaneous input channels), the answer is Yes you could. You just have to seperate the graphs of the channels and assign each graph to a page.

Let me know if I am misunderstanding your intent. Thank you!

Hi Ayman:

Thanks very much.

How do you create a tab? Do you have any simple example to look or guildline to read?

In your previous mail, you said about the property node. Do I need to use property node to ouput some waveforms from my test fixture

like the sample I gave you when you press the "Shock test 1" and "shock test 2"? Is this the only best way to do using property node?

Dear Ayman:

I think I have made the tab. Attached is my sample I made. If I am right, could you tell if I coud use "Tab" key to move one tab by another?

The other thing is I don't understand you said about property node to control the tab. I gave you the sample last time. I did not find

any property node. Did you see any in the sample? If so, would you please tell me? The main thing why I need use a property node

to control the tab because I am doing a test using a keyboard key. Could you tell me why I need to use property node?

In addition, may I ask you if you have any example I can look for to put waveform under tab using NI5112. The example that

NI5112 is given is needed to get someone to put some parameter manually. It does not have just a waveform chart without entering

the parameter and it may just set it in the block diagram to get a waveform. Some press a button, the waveform will follow your setting

and display it on the screen. Can you some examples to look at for this problem?  I appreicate your help. Thanks!
