Hello AK ats,
The PXI-5124 operates on a reference fashion. What this means is that you can specify the reference position parameter of the ni_Scope Configure Horizontal Timing VI to determine the number of pretrigger versus posttrigger points that are stored. This percentage is specified as a percent of the record, from 0-100. For example, a 0% reference position means that you will have the actual record length points stored after the trigger occurs, while the 100% reference position means that all the samples are stored before the trigger occurs.
I hope this answers your question.
