Searching for 68 pin VHDCI jumpers between adjacent boards

We are using the PCI-7830R FPGA RIO card though this same query applies to other FPGA cards and indeed to other cards that use VHDCI connectors. We need to find a cabling solution to link between the VHDCI connectors on adjacent boards. The board pitch is 0.8" on both PCI and PXI and so the same solution would be appropriate for both. We are also trying to keep it low profile.

We have looked at using the IDC versions of the plugs but since this uses 2 IDC cables any such jumper would no longer be 1:1 wiring, something that we're reluctant to do except as a last resort.

Another option that we've considered is making a custom jumper PCB, even though this is not ideal as it imposes mechanical strain on the jumper PCB. Also we have not been able to find straight PCB mount versions of the plug (only right angled plugs even though there are straight versions of the receptacle).

Any suggestions welcomed.
