Agilent Technologies 82350 PCI GPIB and Labview 8.5

I've never use the VISA library to control the HPIB cards.  Are there any example CVI code on NI to perform an easy command - ie. IDN?  If you can help me to establish communication to the test instruments via HPIB, that'll be great.

Hey Gary,
So if you have CVI already installed on your PC, along with NI-488.2 drivers, there should be some examples in the example finder, Help->Find Examples. When it comes up, there should be a folder labled Hardware Input and Output -> GPIB. This was written primarily for a National Instruments GPIB board, but this could possibly be some help.

Other than that, you may want to inquire with manufacturer of the HPIB board, they may have some stuff that could be useful
