Does NI-Device support the PC104 GPIB device?

Looking into / attempt to make a PC104 GPIB card add into a WinXP system to make the system look like a GPIB device/instrument using NI-Device.

The Win XP system is a PC104 system that is a spectrum analyzer, with UI written in Visual Studio 6 C++.

1. Is the PC104 GPIO card supported by the NI-Device SW?
2. Any idea if a Win C++ app running under XP can be expanded to make system look like a GPIB device by adding NI-Device and PC104 GPIO card?

-Thanks All!

Hey Jesco,

The PCI/104 GPIB should work just fine with the NI-488.2 driver and from the looks of this link, it seems like the PC/104 GPIB uses the 1.7 driver. I'm curious by what you mean about NI-Device SW? Do you happen to still have the 1.7 version of Ni-488.2?

Hey,

I just want to clarify one thing. NI-Device will not work with the PC104, so the best route to go is to use the 488.2 software as mentioned above, and it should come shipped with the PC/104 GPIB.

Regards,

Nick D.
