hello,
I have a Hantek DSO-2090 which I cannot seem to get working with the supplied labview VI. I have searched the board but have not yet found a answer other than that it likly has something to do with the function in the DLL. I have no way of modifying the dll function so I now need to see what else I can do. I wander if anyone else has used this DSO before and if so how in the world did you get it to work? I appreciate all suggestions and advice, other than to get a new dso as this is the one I am stuck with for now.
Thanks

You did install their USB driver?

I think so, It installs automatically when you plug it in. Also it does appear to be running up to the point of a dll function call to "getchanneldata", to test that I put a indicator on the return value of the functions and they all return a 1(working) up to this specific function. Im still lost on what to do.

Without the DSO, it would be hard for anyone to help you debug the VI.

I was sort of hopping maybe someone who has this device might see this and have either a similar experience that was solved or atleast tell me what they did to get thiers to work. Im still hopping.

You can keep "hopping" or better yet hoping.
I have never heard of this brand before and the scope is appears targed towards a hobby/enthusiast market.
$190 for this instrument vs. $1000 for a low-end Agilent scope.
I certainly wouldn't be purchasing something like that for my job.
Good luck.

Thanks for the link, I saw that one already and it appears to have no solution. This is why I posted this to see if anyone else had one working. Its probally a lost cause and will have to tell my boss that I need something else.
Thanks

Mattx055,
I'm sorry that you aren't able to get this device working. I know this is probably a long shot, but have you tried contacting Hantek to see if they have any insight into the error?

Hey all,
It looks like I now have a solution. I had contacted Hantek and I think it took about a week for them to get back to me, though once they did get back to me I was able to start compuniating back and forth with a tech. The tech sent me another copy of the Vi along a copy of the dll which appears to work. So I have attached the vi but I cant seem to attach the .dll due to its extention so I changed it to a .doc file which would need to be renamed with .dll incase anyone else ends up with this same issue.
Thanks to all for your comments.
