I run into same problem and solved it though not sure why it actually works. I inserted a "VISA read STB" after each "VISA write" (see picture). I believe it gives some more time for scope to prepare response. anyway it seems to work. I had similar issue in "Error Query.vi" (part of "Tektronix DPO MSO 2000 4000 Series.lvlib") and similar solution fixed the issue i.e. I entered a "VISA read STB" after each "VISA write"
