GPIB-USB-B does not work with CVI 8.5 installation

Hi,

I've installed CVI 8.5 with all drivers on a laptop that has not previously had NI sw installed. When I plug in the GPIB-USB-B device, which by the way is working ok on other machines, MAX does not see it.

Anybody know what I need to do to make it work?

Hi Kurt!

The only thing that comes to my mind is that if MAX is not recognizing the GPIB, check if Windows finds it as new HW. If Windows does, make sure you have installed the correct driver for it.

The driver you need is 488.2 in a version 2.2 or later; also you need to have NI-VISA installed. t
