GPIB-USB conflicting with COM

Recently, I started having some serious issues with GPIB conflicting with a serial Port.  This is my set up.  I have multiple devices running through GPIB-USB using LabView to run them.  And then I have a standalone RGA that uses a serial port and its own proprietary program.  I used to be able to run both the LabView program then startup the RGA Program independantly and have both run concurrently.  Now if I run the RGA  while the LabView program is running, the LabView program will run for a short time and then lock up on me, causing me to have to reboot the program.

Any suggestions as to a solution?

I have insured that all the addresses are correct.  The RGA program will continue to run regardless of the LabView program crashing...

This issue has been driving me insane for the past two days...

Hello Jasonftrotter:

What specific error are you getting? Does it have an error number?

I get no specific error, the program just freezes, and I have to reboot the computer.

Hello Jasonftrotter:

Were there any software updates between it working and not working? I find it weird that it would all of a sudden stop working.
