To let you know This issue was reported to R&D (# 231554) for further investigation. The issue with this error lies in the NI - 488.2 driver and does not relate in any way to any other NI - software. Right now I don't have any information on when this issue may be fixed, though the issue number 231554 will remain the same, and any applications engineer can see the current status of the issue.
