I have a new GPIB-ENET/100 device that I am trying to get running with my test setup. All of the older devices like this that I have, have the IP address set in them to 192.168.1.20. I want to set the new device up like this as well, buty can't find a way to do it so far. The knowledge base articles I have read said that there was currently no way to do this in Windows XP, but you could use this Assign IP utility in Windows 3.1 or Windows 2000/NT. We haven't had one of those machines in our lab for quite some time, so I really can't believe that this is still true. Can someone point me in the right direction of how to set this IP address so I can use the equipment with my software without having to make changes every time the DHCP gives it a diferent address??
Thanks,

Hi Doug,
Please take a look at the following articles which addresses setting a static IP address for the GPIB ENET/100.
KnowledgeBase 3E3ALM4B: Setting Up the GPIB-ENET/100
Hope this helps,

Doug,
To help clear up some of the confusion, the documents you saw that are referring to Windows 3.1/2000/NT are not for the GPIB-ENET/100. These are referring to the GPIB-ENET, which was the predecessor to the GPIB-ENET/100, and has not been available for years.
