I use Agilent 4352b(a Signal Analyze) and 8664A(a Signal generator).4352b connect 8664A through a GPIB.
Now I want to connect 4352b through Keysight 82357B (a GPIBtoUSB converter) .
I search out some GPIB port :
GPIB0::16::INSTR
GPIB0::17::0::IINSTR
GPIB0::17::1::IINSTR
GPIB0::17::13::IINSTR
GPIB0::17::14::IINSTR
GPIB0::17::15::IINSTR
GPIB0::17::16::IINSTR
but they all can't connect !
why?

thank you
I think you may have some misunderstandings, I use 2 instruments instead of two interfaces/ports/GPIB .
Computer——Signal Analyze ——Signal generator ,They are connected to each other.
Signal Analyze ——Signal generator,Analyze must connect to Generator to work, and they're already connected(This is the case at the factory).
Now I want to connected Signal Analyze.

Is the Generator or the Analyzer set up as the GPIB master? You can only have 1 master on a bus. Typically, if there is a "master" GPIB connection on an instrument, there is a second GPIB interface in order to accept commands from a PC.

thank you
It seems that I can't connect to Analyzer. Because it's going to control Generator
