NI 488.2 driver licensing

I purchased an NI 8186 PXI controller and it was pre-loaded with NI VISA and NI 488.2 software.  The standard NI License agreement seems to treat these two s/w packages differently than other 'drivers'.  I found an NI link that states that a license to use NI VISA is included when obtained with NI hardware purchase. I'm assuming that this also applies to NI-488.2 but can't find that stated anywhere by NI. Do you know where I can find this information?

For the NI 488.2 drivers you don't need any license for it. You can just install it and start using it.

Drivers are free, because they are just a way that the hardware connects to the software, what requires a license is the software. 

On the readme for NI 488.2 you can see that there are no licensing requirements, meaning, you don't need a license for this.
