NI 9866 virtual simulation

Trying to simulate the LIN module NI 9866 in a compaqDAQ NI 9188...

In MAX, I'm able to add a virtual cDAQ chassis, but for modules to add no NI 9866

I'm  pretty up to date, MAX 15.0.0f, DAQmx 15.1.1 w/Labview 2015 64bit, XNET 15.0

Hopefully this is something simple, like I needed to have a physical one first???

You are not able to simulate the 9866in MAX, that is why you were able to simulate the cDAQ but no see the option of the 9866 module. Is there a specific reason why you were wanting to simulate it rather than use hardware?

I currently have a system that utilizes multiple cDAQ w/therm, volt, and relay modules, which I deploy/runtime only exe...
I can connect remotely/tcp and add the new XNET device, so not a real big deal...
Plus this is new hardware for me, and thus I need a sample for my development/feasibility, and our NI rep. is working on this, ...Thanks again
