Need to use PCMCIA-GPIB+ on NT

I need to port PCMCIA-GPIB+ from Windows 3.1 to Windows NT 4.0. According to your web site, a driver is not available for this board on an NT. Is this REALLY true? Is there a chance that the driver for the PCMCIA-GPIB on an NT would work with a GPBI+ board? Are there any other things I could try?

No, the PCMCIA-GPIB+ will never work under Windows NT. The problem is that PCCard services were not cleanly incorporated into the NT operating system so the services they provide are very minimal. The PCMCIA-GPIB+ card has two different logical devices on the single card. The NT PCCard services were not written to detect a card that has two different logical devices. When Microsoft came out with Windows 2000, they put a clean implementation of PCCard services so a PCMCIA card with multiple interfaces is detected. As of now, you will only be able to use the controller portion of the card, but it will work under Windows 2000. Unfortunately, there is nothing that NI can do to allow the PCMCIA-GPIB+ board to work under Window NTx.
