Hello,

I have a couple of suggestions:

- Verify you have the latest NI-488.2 and NI-VISA drivers.

- Try another computer.

- Try a different PCIe slot on the troubled PC.

If you are still having issues, respond back here.

Does Windows recognize the device at all in any machine (i.e. New Hardware Found Wizard)?

When installed, are there any entries in the Window Device Manager that may correspond to this device? Any Yellow Exclamation Marks?

Anything representative of this card in MAX?

If you can reply with the answers and some demonstrative screenshots, it would help lots!

Hi

I Have put this card in 2 other computers and was not recognized at all.

Currently I have it on my windows vista machine. When I first put the card in

a window came up

Driver software installedPCI standard PCI-to-PCI Bridge installed ready to use. There is nothing in MAX or Device manager. I can’t find anything that looks like a GPIB card or IEEE.

Is this a new board? Has it ever worked on any PC?

This could be a faulty piece of hardware. Contact the Applications Engineering department via www.ni.com/ask for some suggestions on next steps.
