PCMCIA - Code 43

I just installed a PCI-232/2 board on a Windows XP machine. I have installed NI-Serial version 1.45. My ports show up in Device Manager. Windows XP return teh device is OK. I run the NI-Serial diagnostic utility and the ports not pass. Windows XP stop the device because the device show an error (code 43).
What mean the code 43,

Try downloading (it's free) and installing the latest version (1.6) of the software from ni.com.

I do this, remove the old version and install the new.
XP say the port is OK, but the NI diagnostic do not pass.
Maybe an PCMCIA card fault ?

Do the Resources (IRQ or I/O range) assigned to the card show conflicts with any other device (not the same card)? (You can find that by opening Device Manager, then double-clicking on the serial port, and clicking on the "Resources" tab.)

Try:
1. Uninstall the card from the Device Manager: In Device Manager under Multifunction Adapters, right-click on the PCMCIA card and select "Uninstall".
2. Shutdown the computer.
3. Take out the PCMCIA card.
4. Start the computer.
5. After Windows has completed start-up, put in the PCMCIA card.

Do you have another (preferably different type of) system that you can install the software on and put your PCMCIA card into? If this works then it helps to eliminate the card as having an issue.

Sanjay has a great suggestion here. If you are able to get it to work in a different laptop, we will want to know the specifcations of the laptops you tried, so we can try to narrow down the root of the issue.

Another thing to try is contacting the laptop manufacturer if there is a BIOS upgrade. It may be an issue with the PCMCIA card carrier that the manufacturer fixed at a later date in the BIOS. If you still have trouble, I recommend working directly with our Applications Engineers over the phone. You can start a service request at http://www.ni.com/support.

I have change the card PCMCIA with an another one. The system work correctly.

How can I test the PCMCIA card itself ?
