After installing the card, did you right click on it in MAX and select 'Scan for Instruments'?

ja, i did so many times .but there is no any device found.

First, verify that the instrument is set for GPIB communication. nyc mentions that it is LXI compliant. You may have a menu item to enable/disable GPIB/Ethernet

If you have another GPIB instrument, connect that all by itself and try a scan. If you have a different GPIB cable, try that and do a rescan.

hi

   i have multiple string commands which i have to send from visa write..how can i send multiple command one after another.i am using Rs 232/rs485 serial communication.With in the string some of data i have to control from user interface.
