Pseudo Random Setup

Solved!

I am using a 6682a PS and need to generate a random current signal, say 10-30 amps. Also, I would like to specify / control the number of steps, min and max step duration if possible.

And what exactly are you having a problem with? What programming language are you using for this?

I'm also not sure how a ramp with number of steps, min and max duration correlates to a random number generator for the current output.

I am using LabVIEW to control the PS.  I am able set the output voltage to turn on a bulb.  I need to sweep the voltage to turn the bulb on at different voltage inputs simultaneously..

I would assume that you are using one of the drivers. I still am unsure about what you need help with. You marked my response as solving your question.

The 6682 is a single output supply so 'different voltage inputs simultaneously' is confusing.
