RS-232 communication

hello, I am using Flukehydra 2635A for data aquisation using RS-232. I used the basic rs-232 read and write from LabView find example to check the instrument connection.when i send the *IDN?\r\n i am getting the instrument make and model deatils in read string box but, when i send the commands for scan,trigger,read etc Instrument is not responding. Can anybody help me in this regard. thanks,

I haven't used a Hydra in quite a long while but you might want to look at the 2625A driver. The two instruments may be similar enough that you can use much of the already written code. Otherwise, it would be nice if you could post the exact commands you are sending and any error codes that might be coming back.
