Sweep time and R&S FSQ8 signal analyzer

Good evening all.

Could someone please tell me if there is a way of getting the sweep time used by the signal analyzer (R&W FSQ8) once RBW, VBW and SPAN have been set if I keep the SWEEPTIME AUTO mode?

Is there any formula to get this? It seems that sometimes it uses SWT=SPAN/RBW^2 but not always.

Hi Giovanni,

are you using the LabVIEW instrument driver from Rohde & Schwarz?

Did you try to contact them? Maybe driver documentation or the analyzer manual provide the answer...

I'm using the official driver but I can't find anything even in the manual.

I'm going to ask directly to R&S. Hope to find out something.
