TDK-Lambda Power Supply error

HI all

I am trying to communicate with TDK power supply (LAN supported model) through ivi drivers. I have created the logical name of the ivi driver and mapped it with niDCPower driver. When I am trying to set voltage & current through LabVIEW VI it is giving me error "Method or function is not supported in  IviDCPwr Initialize With Options.vi

I am not unable to understand becuase of what this error is coming?

Can anyone help me out there?

Thanks!!!

Hi All

I am not able to understand which ivi specific dirver i need to install for TDK lambda power supply in order to execute the example present in NI examples>>Hardware Input and output>>Instrument drivers>>IVI>>Output DC volts.vi

I have got this link for TDK lamda power supply drivers . But the drivers present over here are for serial communication and I have them prsent in my instr.lib.

Drivers for TDK lamda

Please guide me.

There is no IVI driver available at that link. I don't understand your mapping to a driver for an NI power supply.

Hi

I have mapped my ivi driver logical name to niDCpwr driver (from drivers sessions) in MAX(by clicking on go to and selecting niDCpwr driver from driver sessions). In this driver hardware tab, i have mapped instrument driver LaGen which is actually the driver for Lambda power supply instrument.

I have selected iviDcPwr and ividriver api under published APIs for LaGEN driver under Instrument Driver Software Module section.

This is how i have configured my ivi driver in MAX.

now when I am trying to run the LabVIEW VI where I am selecting the logical name given in the MAX , I am getting session invalid error.

For that when i googled , i found that i need to install IVI COM drivers/IVI C drivers for the specific instrument which I found on TDK lambda power supply webpage. But there also drivers are not available.

TDKLambda-IVI dirvers

Am I missing somethind because of which I am getting this error?

Stop messing with niDcpwr. Add I said, that's for an NI supply. I don't know where you got this LaGEN. From the last link you posted, it seems you need to contact tech support.
