TDS3014B does not recognize by VISA (GPIB-USB-B) -solved

Hello,

I have a problem with Tektronix TDS3014B scope to connect computer by GPIB-USB-B. Does anyone have same kind problems?

I'm using VISA-driver.

There's not seems to be any faults on my connections etc, because other devices are recognized without any problems when TDS3014B is not connected to GPIB-net. So, if scope is not connected to GPIB other devices are working fine. Now when I connect scope there, any other deviced does not recognize too, still those seems to return correctlike information when checking net.

I attach here an NI-Spy data if it shows something to someone. I noticed that TDS does not return same kind information than e.g. Keithley as you can see on log-file too.

Can you anyone give me some advices?

Hello again,

Just replying to my own message to inform that problem is solved halfly.

First, forget to say before that i'm using Keithley USB-GPIB -adapter (KUSB-488) which should be compatible with GPIB-USB-B (?).

I got connection work with NI488.2 driver version 2.4 and using NI's GPIB-USB-B -adapter, because after updating driver Keithley adapter driver's does not work at all and cannot be installed again (?).

So I think, there is some driver incompatibility with these parts that i'm using.
