Transfer PXI WIN XP NI 8.5 to Win 7

Hello,

I'm currently using PXI System with Win XP, NI 8.5, and TestStand 4.0 for my Test System.

I would like to transfer this system to run with Win 7.

I'm very new,  what are the advises for me to watch out?

This has nothing to do with instrument control.

By NI 8.5, do you really mean LabVIEW 8.5?

You are upgrading to the latest versions of LabVIEW and TestStand and DAQmx? It would help if you provided the actual modules in the pxi chassis and how you are connecting to it. In my experience, the upgrade process is usually pretty painless but default folders and security changes could be an issue. Make sure everything is backed up before doing such s large change.

I'm still using LabView 8.5

these are my  chases modules:  NI PXI-8464, NI PXI-4461, NI PXI-2569, NI PXI-8360, and NI PXI-4070.

But 8.5 is not supported on Windows 7 and I don't believe TestStand 4 is either. You are on your own. Good luck.
