Need the VI that runs on the other pc as well as the make and model of the instrument connected there. If you are using the run continuous button, stop using it and use a while loop with an event structure.

As Dennis noted, we'll need that information. Have you used Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) before? Can you see the device connecting the two computers on MAX at all, or even in Windows Device Manager? This article may help. If so, does a self-test or test panel in MAX communicate?
