Hi,
OK I will try your VI at one of my scopes and I will check the manuals I have.
But you have to patient. You know that little country at the opposite location ? The Netherlands
For me it is almost time to go to bed for me....

Hi,
I tried some VI’s with my DL1740 scope (with USB!). Communication is the same as your scope.
To read the peak-peak value of a signal you should first setup the measurement option of your DL. You can do that from your VI or setup the DL for p-p measurement through the front panel. After this setup, you will get the p-p value from your DL.
You can also try ‘Example 2’ from the zip. This will show the waveform from your DL.
Using this waveform and the array min/max function you can also find the value you want to know.
I also use this way to perform the measurements on waveforms. You only have to read the waveform and you do not need to setup the DL for all different measurements.
The WC …… The whole country gets crazy, almost everything and everybody turns orange, almost everybody is watching the games and it is very quiet on the streets.
All of that and I don’t like soccer at all.

Hi
thats working preety good now. Thanks for your help. If you dont mind another question: It probably is possible to obtain a whole data set from the display rather than just some specific values as rms and ptop. Is that right? So i just have to find a command that reads the stored data from the osci right?

Hi,
Yes you can. With 'Example 2' from the ZIP in post 9 you can read the data from the DL. Once you have it (in an array) you can perform all measurements you want.
