We do not currently have support for either the GPIB-USB-B or the GPIB-1394 modules on the Macintosh. We did, however, recently release a driver for internal PCI-GPIB cards. Are there any plans to support the GPIB-USB-HS card for Apple computers in the (near) future? When I bought one it didn't even occur to me that drivers would be unavailable (USB to GPIB at software level naively doesn't seem like that hard a conversion).

Hi.

I've been trying out LabVIEW 8.20 for WinXP and really like it. I would like to move to OS X in the future, but I need to be able to control a GPIB device through USB. Is there a GPIB to USB controller available for OS X?

Also, is there an evaluation version of LabVIEW for OS X?

Unfortunately,  the USB GPIB devices are not supported on Mac OS X. This information can be found on the readme of the latest driver versions. We also do not have an evaluation version for LabVIEW other then on Windows.  Please make a Product Suggestion so that we can have another record of this request. Thanks
