newbie question: GPIB-USB-A with VB?

Greetings,

I'm working on a project in which we need to access an HP RF power meter (the HP 438A) using GPIB. We have a GPIB-USB-A adapter and we're interested in using it with Visual Basic (6.0). Are there any ActiveX controls or LabView DLLs available for the GPIB-USB-A?

My apologies if this is a FAQ.

Matt,

You should be able to use the latest NI-488.2 driver(version 2.1) from NI to use the GPIB-USB-A. A VB language interface does install with the driver and utilities. Good luck with your app.
