tektronix tds5000 - how to begin

Hello,
i want control Tektronix tds5000 oscilograph in LabVIEW. I downloaded it's driver from web, that consist dll, help files and examples, and fp file for LabWindows/CVI. It is new for me instrument controling and i don't know how i use it functions (through VISA, GPIB or VXI). I know that this is VXI pnp driver.
Please help me.

The best place to start with an instrument driver is the LabVIEW Measurements Manual - in particular, Chapter 19, Instrument Drivers in LabVIEW. It will tell you where to install it, what each of the different inputs/outputs are for, and how to test communication with your instrument. This manual, as well as other instrument driver info, can be found in KnowledgeBase 28FFK4QO "Now that I Have Downloaded My Instrument Driver, How do I Use It?" You can find this KB by typing it into the search window on the left of the DevExchange page and selecting Technical Resources from the search pulldown window.
