Hi,
Here is a link to the latest NI GPIB drivers (NI-488.2). What operating system are you using? When do you receive this error? During installation or when you run in a program?

Missy,
I am having the same problem, it happens when trying to run the program. I have tried the version 2.2 PCI-GPIB software, but I think the original version software was 1.7, does this make a difference? I am running Windows 98 at the time. Can you help. My cell is 734-558-1182 if it would be easier to call.
Thanks,
Ken

Hi Ken,
Just to let you know, if you would like to speak with an Applications Engineer on the phone, you can contact NI by creating a phone support request from this link. We offer phone support as part of a service contract. If you're interested in obtaining one (or a free trial), check out this link. (Of course, we can always continue to discuss this issue on this forum if you'd prefer.)
Either version (1.7 or 2.2) should work on a Windows 98 system. Version 2.2 is the latest driver to support Windows 98. Did you always get this error? If not, what changed in your system to cause this problem? If you run an example such as LabVIEW <-> GPIB.vi (or any other example), do you see this error?
