Hello,

The TNT5004 is the chip used in many of the NI GPIB interfaces.  The chips are not available for public sale and the NI GPIB interfaces are only supported by National Instruments when used with the NI-488.2 driver or DDK.  Because directly accessing the TNT5004 is not supported, there is no public manual available.

What are you trying to do?

What NI GPIB interface are you using?

Why isn't the NI-488.2 driver not suitable for your needs?

Thanks,

Steven T.

I have to write a driver for TNT5002. I will be using the DDK. The GPIB-PCI card we had purchased has TNT5004 on that. I was tring to do some preliminary testing, like checking for PCI detection. For this I had used the device ID for 5002. Thus the detection failed. Though I had got the device ID by PCI probing, just wanted to see that in the 5004 manual. So started searching for that (as I expect that I have access to the manual of the device I purchased). But failed. Still I feel that, it will be good if I have the manual with me.
