Ability to change default format settings for controls & indicators

For example, I like to display numeric controls & indicators with the typeface right-justified & bold, and the display format set to floating point with the digits of precision set to 3.  If I drop a numeric control from any of the palettes (classic, modern, silver), I need to do too many right clicks to accomplish this.

I know that I can create custom controls and put them in the user controls palette, but I think it would be nice to be able to grab the controls & indicators from the regular palettes already formatted the way I like.

This could be accomplished most easily (for the user) by allowing a right click option to use the current format for that particular control or indicator as the new default.  Such that the next time a control is selected from the palette, it will already be formatted the way I like.  Of course, this idea could be extended beyond the properties I mentioned, as well as to other controls & indicators (not just numerics).  I imagine this could also be implemented through the Tools/Options menu.

The existing idea includes only part of what I am proposing.  I used numerics as an example, but my idea could be applied to many other controls, or maybe just about all controls & indicators.

The existing idea only mentioned one property of the numeric.  Mine would apply to many properties, especially text formatting.

The existing idea thought the implementation should be through Tools > > Options & the .ini file.  Mine suggested that a right click option would be the preferred method of implementation.

The custom control fix that was mentioned in your comment is more cumbersome, but does work.  It is the method that I currently use.  This idea would save many right clicks.

I have added a link to your idea in the other one. This way we can keep the kudos contained to the idea overall and the implementation and scope of the idea can be refined within the comments.
