Auto terminals linkage

It will be nice if the controls and indicators are automatically linked to the appropriate locations on the icon, based on where the user placed the controls and indicators and the block diagram.

Can you give a few more details on your idea?

It sounds like these ideas.

Create a proper connector pane when doing Edit -> Create subVI  (Completed)

Edit >> Create SubVI: Tweaks  (Declined because of the above idea being completed.)

Create SubVI with VI Template (Declined because of the above idea being completed.)

Basically, the Create SubVI action got a lot smarter in LV 2011.

You are right.  I totally forgot about the Create Subvi.  I usally make my subvi from scratch.  I guess I need to start using create subvi again.
