its impossible to understand the glyph-names, without selecting/clicking on each glyph one after another. 'Filter glyphs by keyword' field doesn't make any sense untill understanding all the available glyphs by name.
In the proposed 'Details View', the glyphs appear on the left side followed by glyph-name on the right side, just like files and folders appear in windows explorer. This helps to familiarize with the glyph names, after this we can use the fiter by keyword function.
I like this idea! (But you should have described the feature) I like it because searching for an appropriate icon can be such a pain. Also searching icons in that small window is very tedious when you try to find a specific icon you can't remember the name for. So detailed view seems very helpful to learn names.
exactly PNR . I hope the above image explains the feature. i dont think i can edit the original 'Idea post'. if i start a new thread with both images will it be 'duplicate post'?
Perhaps it would be useful with different views, but not to solve the problem you describe. You already have a feature in the icon editor that lets you find a glyph, the problem is that you don't know what you should search for.
