Move Stacked Sequences from the Palette

There has been a lot of discussion on this but no LabVIEW Idea (that I was able to find). Please move the Stacked Sequences from the Programming Palette to a "retro" or "classic" palette. This is dissuade novices from overusing them

I would go so far as to release a patch to remove them from all Installed LabVIEW Versions!

it's nice that you're so quick with SMs but not everybody is.  The fact that you might be able to do X or Y as quick as I can do Z is not an argument against Z.

I consider the Flat Sequence Structure a superior alternative to the Stacked Sequence Structure.  Now that we have Flat Sequences, there's really no reason to keep Stacked Sequences around.  Kinda like keeping my old cell phone around, even though my new iPhone is better in every conceivable way.  I preferred the original wording, and will kudo this idea if it changes back to "get rid of Stacked Sequences forever".  😉

I agree that Stacked Sequences are outdated and prone to abuse and I would like to see them gone forever.  This is a first step in hiding them so we can  get rid of them in the future !

Just wanted to put things into perspective on this lighthearted argument. I can't say I disagree with these comments, but like other Ideas, a few forum posts are pushing against some pretty weighty inertia:

After seeing way too many VIs written by LabVIEW novices, I would readily agree that these structures should be hidden from plain view. I would suggest an INI token that by default is missing or set to false. Perhaps something like:

I_Want_Obfuscated_Code=True

to turn on the stacked sequence structure in the palettes?

The stacked sequence could be removed from the palette but still indirectly available after placing a flat sequence, followed by "right-click ... replace with stacked sequence".

The flat sequence structure left in the palette could simply be named "sequence structure" (no "flat"), with a right-click menu: change to stacked/change to flat.
