Hi everyone,
I have little experience but it's been a few times that I'm not satisfied with LabVIEW scrollbars and indirect methods like property nodes (Scroll Pos for Example) don't always fit my purpose. Why don't we have a scrollbar for clusters, paths which get always truncated and intelligent scrollbars for arrays which are used as an "index indicator" only.
An array of IMAQ Images is way more efficient I think with two independent scrollbars.
And I would conclude with listboxes where scrollbars are awful. Users can keep clinking on sliders even if Number of columns and lines properties are set, worse that the fact that there is always a little difference between the position of the "end" of the slider and the end of the listbox. And all of this comes from the fact that Number of lines properties play on the lines displayed and not on the total number of lines of the listbox.
Still on LabVIEW 8.0. Sorry in advance if I missed something or if earlier versions improved this.
Chris
