It's fairly common for an operator to want to pause or extend a process at a certain step (e.g. "extend the oven preheat until I get back from break").
Add a boolean input to the PID Setpoint Profile VI called "pause" (default false). When true the profile elapsed time doesn't increment, and the setpoint output is the last unpaused value repeated.
Any idea that has not received any kudos within a year after posting will be automatically declined.
