This VI in Project in the VI's

Status: New

If i want to find a VI in a project, I have to open the VI, then View >> This VI in Project (Ctrl+Shift+E)

Would be great if i can right click the VI icon and select as shown below.

This VI in Project by right-clicking the VI icon;

Sometimes this saves many clicks, opened VIs and is easy navigating between Project and VIs.

Or you could just use the Ctrl+Shift+E

And we don't like yelling around here.  It hurts our ears.

i didnt get enough time to choose the formatting when i post the above post. sorry for that.

then i was at work and was opening an old project (coded by someone else). i had to open many VIs from the block diagram of several VIs and check its location on project by opening each VI one by one and then Ctrl+shift+E. then i thought it would be good if i have this feature without opening all the subVIs, but by just right clicking the VIs icon on the calling VIs block diagram. i find this feature really desirable. thanks for your comments.

I see.  You want to click on a subVI and go to the project location of the subVI.  Initially I thought you were just right clicking the block diagram or icon of the current VI and going to its project location (The same as ctrl+shift+e).  I could get on board with that.

Yes. exactly. why should i open hundreds of VIs and close them, just to find its location on the project?

Oh.  That's way different than how you left us to interpret it.  We hear "VI Icon" and we think the icon sitting in the upper right with the connector pane.  If you are talking about a subVI sitting on a VI's block diagram, there's some power.
