suggestion in saving data command

Hi, I am using LabView 8.6

I always need to save a lot of measurement data with similar file names.

It is very common to accidentally overwrite previous files with similar names.

When this happens LabView never gives a warning and it is hard to notice this.

I don't know if this has been improved on later versions, or is it the responsiblity of operating system.

Anyway, please add this warning function to LabView. This is a great product and we should make it perfect.

You have it already (at least as far back as 8.2.1).  When creating a file, use the "replace or create with confirmation" in the operation.  It is an enum, so it should be easy to find.
